Hello everyone! We hope you are doing well and enjoying the first day of your Memorial Day weekend/break from school. We want to take this opportunity to share some notes with you regarding the Saddle Brook Memorial Day Parade.
The parade will kick off at 1:30pm on Sunday, May 30th on Fairlawn Parkway by Evans Place. We will be marching in the Second Division of the parade with our township officials. Therefore, we will meet at 1pm between Evans Place and Schepis Avenue. The parade will proceed down Fairlawn Parkway to Cambridge Avenue. The parade will proceed to Saddle River Road. From Saddle River Road, we will continue down to Market Street. The parade will continue up Market Street to Washington School (by West Street) where the parade will end. The parade program is attached below. We currently have three members signed up to march with us. If you are interested in marching with us and/or passing out candy and/or holding our banner, please fill out the short Google Form below. Signing up in advance will give us an idea of a headcount for the parade. We hope to see you all on Sunday!

Good afternoon everyone! We hope you are staying warm and safe during this major winter storm. We are planning to meet at the Saddle Brook Senior Center (8 Caldwell Ave) this Wednesday, February 3rd from 6:00-8:00pm to make Valentine’s Day cards for senior citizens. Supplies will be provided. We would like to thank everyone who have already created and delivered amazing cards! They came out great, and we know our local seniors will enjoy receiving them. We are still very short in supply of cards, and we're hoping to get enough done on Wednesday. Precautions will be taken to ensure everyone's health and safety. Masks will be required for anyone in attendance. Also, the senior center has plenty of space to ensure appropriate distancing. Any members unable to attend Wednesday can drop off cards at Town Hall (93 Market St) no later than Friday the 5th. The Saddle Brook Mayor's Youth Group met this morning (January 23rd) on Zoom. We thank everyone who attended. Today's meeting minutes are attached to this post and posted on our agendas/minutes page. Each youth group member is invited to help make Valentine’s Day cards for our senior citizens. You can use any paper you have at home, pencils, markers, crayons, or your home printer to help create a special message. Use your imagination! The content can include a poem, riddle, drawing, stickers, or anything you think of. Please don’t forget to sign your card with your first name, the first letter of your last name and Saddle Brook Mayor’s Youth Group. Cards should be dropped off at town hall (93 Market Street) to Christine Genuario, Mayor White's Secretary. The deadline to get your cards in will be Friday, February 5th. We want to make sure they are in the mail and can be received in time for Valentine’s Day. Thank you all for your participation and I can’t wait to see some of your work. Let me know if you have any questions.
